Kitchen and Bath Design / Build provides cutting Edge Kitchen & Bath Renovations in the San Diego area.

Our showroom is on Beech Street, in the same block as Grant’s Marketplace and The Ginseng Yoga Studio. Our compact space combines computer workstations, showrooms for kitchen and bath designs and a small loft suspended above it all. Don’t let the size of their workspace fool you. Remodeling projects range between $8,000 and $12,000 for a simple bath remodel to between $25,000 and $80,000 for kitchen remodels. A more extensive project, like a home renovation that includes a new kitchen, master bedroom and master bath, can run between $120,000 and $350,000.

The South Park Community

We strive to be responsible members of the community in which we live and work. The Van Slyke’s are a sponsor of the North Park Little League and the Balboa Tennis Club, where Dwight is President.

Mabel Van Slyke, Dwight’s mother, has lived in South Park since 1957, in a 1916 home for which she says she spent $16,500. She raised her family there, with six boys and three girls, she watched them grow up to begin families and careers of their own. Her brood didn’t stray far from home, though. In fact, on any given day she can find them just around the corner at Kitchen and Bath Design / Build.

Kitchen and Bath Design / Build is a kitchen and bath design and remodeling company in the heart of San Diego's South Park Neighborhood. "In our years of experience, we have found that a simple kitchen remodel can change lives," Dwight Van Slyke, the owner of Kitchen and Bath Design / Build. "Before the kitchen remodel, a family might go out for dinner three or four times every week not wanting to cook in their old kitchen. But after the kitchen remodel they enjoy being in their new kitchen and want to cook more."
